Yewzs! Been really busy recently, have got so many assignments to hand up ,exams at the end of this month and gota work! How i wish that there's like 48 hours a day, so i can sleep 10 hours a day at least. Hahahas.

Oh ya.. And Dan wants me to blog about an incident that happened yesterday... Dan is now a professional toilet bowl plumber!!
His toilet bowl got choked - full of shits! and i mean shitssss. It filled up to 3/4 of the bowl. The foul smell will reach your nose when you are like 20 steps away from the toilet. Needless the describe how it looked it.
But my Dan is brave enough. His my hero!
He went in to the toilet with a plumb on his hand, plumbing the toilet bowl that his full of shit with all his might. And he got it unchoked! Isnt that cool? I wouldnt be dare to go toilet near though my bladder is going to burst, yet he went in like its nothing.
Well... i guess he can now go be a plumber. His talented lah.

Did i mention that I've got a new family member that joined us like 3 months ago? Lets welcome her... *Its a West Highland Terrier - Shes 6months old now! We are on the same birthday month ya!
Her name is Snowy (afterwhich we realised its too common, but too late - coz the doggie is getting familar with us calling her Snowy!!) Think bcoz shes still in puppy stage, thats why her energy level can never seemed to deplete. She can get totally mischievous and hyperactive - pretty tiring to deal with. Ummm.. and i think its in her blood kinda thingy - she is curious about EVERY bloody single thing. She will smell, lick, play and BITE! Gosh, can destroy anything and im not kidding ya. But despite of all these we still love her lotsa simply bcoz shes too adorable. Wat to do? =)

Sawatdee-Kar ~~ Yapss.. Im back from my Bangkok Holiday! 23rd Sept 2008 to 28th Sept 2008 : 5 days 5 nights trip.
I totally love my recent Bangkok trip!!! Yesh...I'm yearning for longer holidays! But one shall be more contended, coz compared to many, mine is a long one. Holidays are always never enough, so instead of craving for longer ones, i shld plan for the next/more holidays! =)
Deciding to go Bangkok was a tough decision initially, protest and flooding news reported on all different newspaper.. i was told to put off the trip or change to another country... But we were totally glad that we choose to stay with the original plan. Personally, i felt that the situation there arent like what was accounted. Yes, protest is still on... but its only at/near the parliament area, other parts of Bangkok is still totally cool and amazing! Generally, Thai people are gracious people and they are aware that tourism made up quite a big portion of their income ( im refering to shopping areas/places of interests), so i believed that they will not attack tourists as long as the tourists dont go disturb them. To summarise, travelling / holiday in Bangkok is EXTREMELY SAFE during the point the time when i was there! See, im such a living good example to prove that statement.. BUT.. the situation got worst now... the peaceful protest broke into a violent one just days ago.. Umm.. rather to sad to see this kind of violent protest, why get people killed and injuired? Cant that someone say or do something? Okie. I know im not a Thai and i dont totally understand the situation there..So whatever that is it, just hope that this protest will end soon without any more killings or injuries. Okie, back to my Bangkok Trip experience... 5 days Trip and its really the awesome-est trip i ever had with my bloke. Totally enjoyable and happies.. i cant wait to go to back there again. Once, twice is never enough...*though i yearned to go Taiwan as well...
Day 1 (23rd Sept 2008) : 430am: Time to check in for our flight. ( *yawnzs.. im super sleepys coz i have to wake up like 3am to get ready!) Ohh.. it looks so empty early in the morning.
Im waiting patiently outside the Boarding gate. Very patiently. =)
Umm. He thinks that his tall enough to reach the signboard. The key word here is "think" ! 630am: Tiger Airways flight to BKK! Im flying to Bangkok~ *excited* Umm. that i mentioned that i travel by Tiger Airways?

It was kinda Bad Hair Day for him i guess.
Afterwhich, we left the BKK airport to our Hotel: Imm Fusion Sukhumvit. We paid another THB400( app SGD12) for an early check-in, which is quite worth it i feel. Imm Fusion main entrance. Very nice to slp hor? We headed to our light-buffet breakfast after checking-in to the room. *Wah..their crossiant very nice lehs! and i get to eat it everyday! I tried re-sizing the pictures. And it looked distorted now. Arghies. We walked around the hotel after the breakfast, exploring the facilities of the hotel. I have no idea what his doing.
Dining area / restuarant. Small yet cosy.
Resting corner. Chill and watch TV there.
Mini Indoor swimming pool. Cant suntan. =( Mini Gym room - no one uses it.. so it seemed to be readily urs at all times. Try lifting your head and this is what you see.
Another small air-conditioned cosy resting area next to the lift lobby. The hallway. It'll look kinda scary at night.
Back to our room~ Small homely room. But the TV is really too small. I have to strain my eyes to see the TV lor.
Dan VS the Security Guard. This security guard doesnt speak english, but his so friendly! He always greet and smile at us whenever he sees us!
So out we go!
530pm:
This is the official first meal out. its like 杂菜饭.. but definitely cheaper and tastier. And there is something i must must comment about Thai's food, all food - be it at resturants or street hawker all are very gao be 够味！ So delicious and shiok! they totally stimulate my taste bud.
Food not so bad.. and their rice taste much better than what we get to eat in Singapore!
Muay Thai Show here we come Looks like some block-buster movie poster right? Its actually the poster of all muay thai fighters in the upcoming matches. And if you are wondering what is TWINS, its like our Everlast boxing brand.
Hours of different boxers fighting.
They fight for real and they continued to fight even when they are injuried or bleeding profusely. We've paid S$80 per pax for this 4 hours matches.
I felt kinda bad..thoughts after watching the matches, are we paying to encourage violence?! The super-on supporters. You can never expect them to cheer like that!
The boxers are all so small built. Dan looks more like a fighter beside the real fighter! lols.
And we have our supper after watching the matches.
Chicken rice with Tom-Yum-Gong. I dont know why this soup taste like laksa to me. This time round i went to BKK with a mission to find the best Tom Yam Soup. Coz i simply love their so-original local speciality, so i must find the tastiest one!
Day 2 (24th Sept 2008):

Tom Yum Soup! Pa-Thai! Disappointing.. Tom Yum soup is like laksa gravy second store like tat. Why arh?

We even went to watch a Movie there. Some Thai-horror/comedy movie. The waiting alley outside the theater. Its WALL-E combo! Oh. But i fell aslp while watching coz i hardly understand the movie. It has no subtitle there. omgs!

The shops there are like our shops in SIM LIM Square, only at cheaper price. I was thinking...if only all these money are in Pounds! Our supper of the day -strawberry smoothies, Mango salad, Steam bread with kaya + milk sauce.
Day 3 - (25th Sep 2008)
We woke up around 9am on day 3, took our breakfast, rest while and headed to gym and swimming at 12nn.
4pm: Getting ready to go out and search for nice Tom Yam Soups!
Not forgetting to take pictures while waiting!
So we headed to Saphan Khwai , where we used to stay there during our last trip to Bangkok. The stall there served real nice tom yam soup.

Yap. This is place where we stayed during our first visit to Bangkok. Its only S$35/night and the room is terribly big and clean and comfortable, the only con is - its rather far away from the city.
Tom Yam Soup, Oyster Egg, Fried sambal Veggie, Green Curry Chicken. In my opinon, only tom yam soup is nice. The rest is.. *coughs. But the soup itself is worth the trip! And we used to eat chicken rice from this stall. At the same place and NO price increase as of 2 yrs ago. Amazing~
S$1.50 for this... and its so so so 好吃！！
And at later part of the night, we actually went to 2 Night Markets. One is called Khao San Night Market - But the stuffs there are so expensive and hawker there REFUSED to lower the price of their stuffs simply because there are too many tourists there. So you guys can just go there and see, but dont any stuffs there.. coz most of the items are over quoted. Since we couldnt get anything from this market, we decided to seek help from the local Tuk Tuk driver about the local market that we went during our last trip. The place is called Sapanpoot River Market, from my understanding, not many tourists are aware of this market. This market is more supported by the locals, so thats why the stuffs there are genuiely much cheaper. We are being mistaken as Thais for many times, maybe due to the fact that we look like Thai, we speak alittle Thai..so i think the locals feel closer to us...and willing to give us more discount!

The Platinum Fashion Mall - Is totally like our Far East Plaza. Definitely the best place for all girls to shop! I bought 4 pair of shorts, 3 belts, 2 jackets there! Umm. but its a pity that almost all the shops are closed at or before 7pm.. so i didnt get to shop around for long. Next time i will come earlier..
And the food court in the Mall.. Like our Kopitiam.. Use card for payment.
Random picture. Back to hotel to do some laundry. I must tell you. Its the best drink that i had in Bangkok. BlackTea with lemon. I tried to smuggle a bottle of it back, but it was discovered by the custom of BKK. And they confiscated it.. =(

Day 5 - (27th Sept 2008)
9am to 4pm :Chatuchak Weekend Market I almost got a heatstroke there. Guess who we met there? Captain Sparrow!
We had a scrumptious and cooling lunch in an air-conditioned resturant in Chatuchak.
They sell pets in the market. And disgusting stuffs. Cockroaches, maggots, toads and other insects. And after the super long day at Chatuchak Market, we went to JJ Mall, which is opposite to the Market - Airconditioned. I got my nails done at JJ Mall - at S$8 only! Back to the Hotel - Packing needed. All these boxes are T-Shirts inside! See what we've bought.

One day when all the employees reached the office, they saw a big notice placed on the front door on which was written : “ Yesterday, the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral service that has been prepared in the gym. ”
Initially the staff felt sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while, they started getting curious to know who was that person who had hindered the growth of the colleagues and the company itself. The excitement in the gym was high, so much so that security guards were roped in to control the crowd within the gym-room.
The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought : “ Who is this guy who was hindering my progress ? Well, at least he died ! ”
One by one, the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside, they suddenly became speechless ! They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul.

There is a New Stall at the Basement of Bugis Junction (Near to Old Chang Kee) selling cream Puff with Different Toppings. The Puffs are stuffed with fresh cream, 101% sinful. But it taste quite nice! I tried on one with lemon toppings, it tasted sour yet sweet, Appetizing. But the whipped cream inside makes me feel kinda sick. - Umm, im not a whipped cream person ya.

LEMONPACK !! If you love to eat biscuits with Lemon fillings, you have so got to eat this! This is the NICEST lemon fillings biscuit i ever ate. The lemon fillings are fresh and you can totally taste sweetness and sourness together (it makes me go gaga!) and the biscuits are seasoned with little salty taste. This combination is invincible, its solid man! But its rather expensive for 2 small packets of biscuit to be selling at S$4plus.

They keep recommending us to order some food which they claimed as speciality of the store, keep pestering us to make order when we just take a glimpse of the menu, popped out from nowhere and open the lid of my tea cup to refill my tea - its nice tat they offer this kind of service but they should ask first, its kinda rude to lift my cup lid without permission.

But the overall combination, still good! But try not to order their garlic bread as appetizer if you dont like oily sutffs, its kinda too oily(bcoz of the butter)!

And we had some pool competition. Obviously, Zann & Me are the first two to be eliminated. Nevertheless, its just a game mah. But Jack (Zann's bf) later joined us and trashed Eric and JunPing. Everything super Funny okie!
